We had some friends visiting us at the cottage and we hoped for a nice walk but it started to rain so heavily we abandoned that idea and we drove straight out to Ye Old Windmill at Gressingham, an inspired pick on Anne’s part as it was a most wonderful pub, full of character, quiet and with good beer and food – A real find.
We had thought that we might go out for an early evening walk but there was more heavy rain so we decided to stay at home. Had a bit of a rest and started packing for tomorrow. Birds seen or heard during the day included Cuckoo, Blackcap, Robin, Wren, Blue Tit, Blackbird, Rook, Carrion Crow, Red Kite, Pied Wagtail, Swallow, Willow Warbler etc.
